We are convinced that handmade products are the true luxury and that the best vehicle to express our designer’s creativity is the know-how of skilled craftsmen. That is why, from the beginning, GAN has focused on the reinterpretation of traditional techniques and their application to contemporary designs. After years and following this premise, GAN has established a production system that, while preserving tradition, makes it grow, so that artisan practices evolve and contemporary design is enriched.
BACK TO THE ESSENCE
ROOTS is a series of four kilims made of jute and cotton that evokes the Mediterranean origins of Inma Bermúdez and GAN, extolling the work of artisans. Sobriety, warmth, and neutral tones are framed by a repeating square shape, in different scales and rhythms.

A REMIX OF PRIMITIVE ECHOES
The GLAOUI collection designed by Sandra Figuerola is inspired by Moroccan traditions. It is a colourful design approach that exudes warmth and comfort, where all pieces come together around a central focus: the rug. Woven over a loom with knots and embroidery.

DETAILS IN FELT
Inspired by the ornate collars from the Elizabethan era, the Ruff Pouf combines function without sacrificing design aesthetic. Combining geometry and folding techniques, the unique pleated skirt of this pouf surrounds a solid circular drum filled with polystyrene.

COLOUR AND GEOMETRY
Fresh and cheerful, the Mix & Match trays combine metal and ceramic in an innovative way. Dare to combine pieces with different designs, since the studied patterns and colour palette, created by Brazilian ceramicist Flavia del Pra, are conceived to work together.
A NET TAKE ON KNITTING
These Knitted Stools are inspired by different knitting techniques and stitches. The seats are made out of interwoven smooth and ribbed tubes made out of bright-coloured wool. They sit on solid natural ash wood legs, which are both sturdy and casual.

FACETED COLOURS
Diamond is Charlotte Lancelot’s new collection of outdoor kilims for GAN, made from 100% recycled PET. The designer’s goal was to create a multi-faceted coloured diamond, thanks to the superposition of different translucent geometric figures. The result offers fascinating visual effects of transparency and gradients that show that beauty and sustainability, at GAN, always go hand in hand.
